Good evening folks!! All the good things won’t last forever. I hope you understood what I meant; the weekend is over. Hope you had a great one. So here I am with one of the most loved breakfasts of North India; Aloo Paratha.
Aloo paratha is not purely Indian, it is from the Indian subcontinent. This is a bread made of wheat. The dough is made with wheat and then some aloo (potato) masala inside it. The small balls of wheat and aloo are flattened in a similar fashion of making chapati. Then this is fried on a tawa or pan with butter or ghee.
The aloo paratha has lead to the other varieties such as paneer paratha, onion paratha, egg paratha etc. Where the corresponding filling replaces the aloo.
This is usually served along with curd, butter, chutney or pickles. It will go well with any spicy curry like chana masala as well.
Cost per piece of Aloo Paratha: Rs. 30 to Rs. 80
Where to get:
- Just walk into any of the Indian dhabas they will serve this.
