Mirror, Mirror On The Wall!

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall!

Have you ever stood before the sea, and wondered about its vastness? Have you ever fallen asleep to the sound of the waves? Have you ever wondered how something so mighty could be as calm and serene? If you have, you would know how I feel for you. You are my ocean of love, of respect and of gratitude. Help me channelize my calmness.

Every time I see the dance of flames, I get goosebumps. I ask myself how something as alive and colorful as a fire can be as destructive and dark at the same time. I worship the embers that have wings to fly and fear the same, for they turn butterflies into char. My love for you is the same - it has the strength to illuminate and inspire me and the people around, and it has the power to engulf anything and everything that tries to harm you. Help me control it.

Once, when I was home alone, I pondered about the ears of God. Does He have ears? If He does, are they triangle-shaped (like a dog's) or are they shaped like an elephant's? In the end, I concluded that God does have ears and they are as big as an elephant, He hears all our prayers and secrets but always keeps to himself. Then I thought of you, for you are filled with the same amount of kindness and benevolence as God, and you listen to everyone without ever revealing their secrets. Help me to become a better friend.

You are ubiquitous. You are omnipotent. You know everything. You see everything. You reside in the mirror of my room and yet I find you in all the places that I go to. Help me trade spots. Help me turn into stillness. Help me become more of you and less of myself. Help me! Help me!

You outside the mirror
