Ever wondered, where the kidnapped girls disappear to? Ever tried to research about the plight of the women trapped in the name success at sex centres. People referred to as ‘clients’ or ‘customer’ who travel all the way, from a different part of the world just to get satisfied, are ready to pay a hefty amount in exchange of sex. Travelling to a different part of the world for sexual activities are referred to, as Sex Tourism. Reaching to the poorest of the poorest portion of a country, you will find men, women, and children living in between slums, ready to do anything in exchange for money. Sex is the easiest way to earn money, it draws young girls and women into a dangerous game. It's not only unhygienic but also a mentally disturbing activity, but for the people who are already into this, their life is already destroyed. Women especially, no longer care about their health or hygiene, they just want their kids to eat.
It's often observed, that children of sex workers or an abandoned foreigner are more involved in these activities. Prostitutes, sex traffickers and innocent sex labourers are the poorest of the poor section lying way below than the poverty line. Red Light areas, which is the hub of sex workers are filled with men coming from the rich section of society. Be it rich-wealthy males from the same country, or travellers from abroad who come here seeking for sex. Going Swalla over the money, these sex tourists often bring sex workers from their own country and sell them.
The revenue which comes out of these deals is enough to increase the GDP of a relatively poor country. In the era, which is blinded by money, poor people are only left with sex as an option. Tourists always bring great revenue to the countries. And the number scale in millions, the U.S being on number 1 for getting revenue from tourists, which is 244,708 million. Seeing it through the glasses of economy, tourists, be it sex or regular bring in a great fortune to a country. So, it's undoubtedly a boon to the nation. With more money in-country, our day to day needs is sold at reasonable prices.
If we look at it with a broader perspective, sex tourism is a boon in a lot of ways. Brings money to the poor, money to the country and to be honest, satisfaction to both the parties involved.
